My Personal Experience Regarding Business vs. Employment
I’ve toppled over that 40 mark and finally feel a tad grown up. Not fully grown up, mind you, but enough to use what I’ve learned to help others find their ‘place in the sun’.
Having worked for small business, large corporations, and in government positions of high standing, (as well as running my own small and medium sized legitimate businesses) here’s my advice to you – whomever you may be, no matter what talents you already possess…
First of all, if you’re going to live in the country and work on the internet you might as well be working at growing your own business, rather than someone else’s! If this isn’t something you can ’swing’ financially (you absolutely need a weekly paycheck), then I urge you to work towards that goal…
How do you do that? By staying away from the television and working on your business during those hours. Spend a few sleepless nights brainstorming, learning about, or working on a start-up business.
Below I’ve listed for you some established online business, a few trendy startups, and even some ideas I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole! These types of website sales get your feet wet at running an online business and gives you something to work on – and make money at – while you’re still slaving for a boss. Once you’ve learned how a home based online business works and you start turning a profit, you’ll be ready to slip full time into the role of entrepreneur.
