Quilting! It’s an old tradition but suited to anyones lifestyle and home decor. I’ve made everything from traditional to very modern indeed. I’m a freelance writer (by night) and academic (by day) and still find time to quilt. My creations are mostly in the style of scrap quilts. Not only because I like the look of multi-colors and patterns but also I use up all my fabric and almost never need to purchase speciality fabric for any project therefore it can be a rather inexpensive hobby.
