Country Christmas - Living and Decor
in Country Home
It's a Country Christmas at GoodByeCityLife this month and I've got lots to share with you. From my favorite Christmas cookie recipes to the easiest Country Christmas decorating ideas...
We do love the Christmas season, don't we? In a world that has gone crazy of too much to do and no time to do it all, Christmas seems to be the only time of the year to really kick back and enjoy your friends, family, and life.
The smells of cookies baking, the sparkling tress and table decorations, the giggles and the family visits. And it doesn't matter where you are on the map or how small the room may be, or how difficult the rest of the was - Christmas is a time to forget all that and just enjoy the room that holds your favorite people.
Easy Country Christmas Decorating
If you're already living in the country and you've had a snow fall or a cold snap already, make sure you leave those curtains open and enjoy the sun snapping off the sparkling ice and snow. At night it only takes one small apple tree and one set of twinkling white lights draped across the branches to bring a look of classic country decor to your yard. (There's no need to go overboard - this is all about keeping things simple and festive! On the other hand if you have small children for Christmas, go for colored lights in your yard.)
